“The silence of the night, the ascension of the moon, floating into space in the calmness of a violet gleam.”
Nocturnal, Ethereal, Floral though mysteriously Mineral.

Celestial Violet. Man. Natural Perfume.

Atmosphere
Watching the stars from the silence of the night, the moon’s ascension and its cold peaceful light: white, blue, violet, incredibly deep. Closing my eyes as if now out into space, my body unattached to the earth, a virtual sensation yet the reality of the galaxy…My senses meeting with an experience exhilaratingly unknown. Was it a dream? One certitude remains: this superb celestial scent.
This transcendental composition is for those who follow their inner path, flourishing discreetly yet surely and meet their soulmate with no need for words.

Notes
An ethereal nature drawn from extremely rare Namibian Omumbungu Resin, the narcotic emanations of Hyacinth sweetened by a romantic touch of Violet. The pheromonal Hyraceum and red fruits-scented South African Buchu with a hint of Australian Strawberry Gum make for an even more vibrant composition.

Closest olfactive family
Unlike any. Closest to Fresh and Floral.

Aromatherapy
Calming, comforting and discretely aphrodisiac.

NadiaZ perfumes may contain 15-150 plants which bear unique active ingredients and interact with each other in NadiaZ holistic compositions. The featured plants are a selection of some of them for you to discover. Please check the menu NadiaZ Ingredients to learn more about the brand repertoire. NadiaZ is involved in research on the specific phytotherapeutic properties of indigenous plants, however perfumes enter in the cosmetic category and not in the medicinal one, which is why legislation do not make it possible to describe those on this website or the brand documentations. Omumbungu Resin (Commiphora krauselliana):
Also called Tree of the Hyena and native to the southern African region, local superstitions of the Himba people in Namibia purport is has dark magical powers when used in perfumes. It bears a watery, slightly animalistic and yet clean and almost mineral scent that can best be described by the poetical image of a moonlight ray of scent. It is an extremely scarce material which makes this perfume a very, very limited edition.

omumbungu

Hyacinth (Hyacinthus orientalis):
Only the most delicate enfleurage that can best capture the subtlety of this highly fragile scent is used. Its notes are of extreme depths, narcotic while surprisingly ethereal.

jacinthe

African Stone (Hyraceum):
A fossilized waste used to mark the territory of the Cape Hyrax, a close relative from the elephant living in large colonies in the wild in the South African plains and looking like an irresistibly cute giant rodent. This product is valorized, sustainably and ethically collected in the wild by communities providing an effective way to both generate income for the local population as well as preserve the animal and its environment. It is then extracted in a clean tincture that is rich in pheromone like substances, which powerful effect on emotions is only recently being acknowledged by modern science and researched.

Ximenia Oil (Ximenia americana):
Also known as African Sour Plum and originating from the Southern Africa Savannah, this oil has a unique honey-like consistency and is extremely moisturizing. It is reputed to be antimicrobial, and stimulates the sebaceous glands, promoting optimal skin functions. It is an excellent fixative for perfumes, thus creating lasting aromas.

Violet (Viola odorata):
This tiny heart-shaped flower has been the emblem of Athens in Ancient Greece and was already then a sign of good wishes, innocence and modesty. Persians and Greeks used it to bring emotional calm and Romans used the fresh blossoms as wine. Its deep penetrative scent is so fleeting that it can only be captured through delicate enfleurage technique, while most of the commercialized violet-scented products are synthetic. While enfleurage preserves all the heavenly subtlety of violet scent, it is a soft rather than sharp scent that one can appreciate in its full beauty through undivided attention.

Strawberry Gum (Eucalyptus olida):
This Eucalyptus species, found only in Australia, is endangered in the wild. The oil produced from its leaves, unlike any other variety, actually smells like candy or a mix between Strawberry, Banana and Cinnamon. NadiaZ supports cultivation and reintroduction initiatives and the valorization of its rare essence in the perfume industry.

Mopane (Colophospermum mopane):
Also called butterfly tree due to the shape of it leaves, it is only occurs in Southern Africa where it is prized by elephants. Its wood is extremely strong and termite resistant and its oil reminiscent of turpentine with surprising grass and sweet notes.
