A mystical wood popularly called Holy Wood; Palo Santo is native from South and Central America and belongs to the same family as Frankincense and Myrrh. First reports of its use date from the Inca era where it was reputated for its spiritual and relaxing properties. It is used till today by Shaman all over the continent. Its fragrance is anisic, powdery and slightly sweet, though fresh.
Ce bois mystique appelé communément Bois Sacré, est originaire d’Amérique Centrale et du Sud et appartient à la même famille que l’Encens et la Myrrhe. Son usage est rapporté delpuis l’ère Inca pour ses propriétés spirituelles et relaxants. Il est utilisé de nos jours par les Shaman sur tout le continent. Son odeur est anisée, poudreuse, légèrement sucrée bien que fraiche.
